Christmas Sessions Have Begun

Can you believe it's that time already? I did the first Christmas session this week. Little Ella is one of my favorite models. She is full of funny faces and she is just learning to talk so her favorite words are "hi" and "uh oh" Here are a few of my favorites from her session. Keep an eye on the blog for upcoming sessions. Back To Work

Just want to let everyone know I am back to work after the birth of my sweet little girl Isabella Ansley. She was born Sept 24 2008 at 11:33 p.m. weighing 6 lbs 4 ounces and measuring 18 inches long. Christmas is upon us so be thinking about those Christmas sessions. I will be posting details as soon as possible on Christmas backdrop choices.

Isabella at 29 Weeks

I finally got my scanner working so I could post a picture from my 3D Ultrasound a few weeks ago. The little stinker must be camera shy like her daddy because she already knows to hold her hands over her face during pictures. This is the only one we managed to get of her. We are going to try again in a week or so and maybe she will cooperate a little better then.

Special For Blog Readers

I am trying to revamp my website. I have been awful about keeping it updated with current pictures and I am going to try my best to do better. Right now I am looking for 2009 seniors. If you are a Senior and are interested in having me do your pictures, call now and schedule your appointment and I will waive the session fee for any Senior session scheduled in August. That is a $30 savings. All you have to do is give me permission to use them on my site. It doesn't matter which school you attend as long as you are a 2009 senior. Also if you are expecting and are intersted in Maternity pictures I will waive your session fee for those as well as long as you give me permission to use them on my site. They need to be made between 32 and 36 weeks of pregnancy. Call now to schedule your appointment.

Counting Down The Days

Well I am now 30 weeks pregnant. I am getting very excited to have this baby in my arms instead of in my belly. She is due Oct 18th so hopefully by the time the leaves start changing I will be up to at least a couple of sessions, because it's my most favorite time of the years for pictures. I have already been looking at newborn pictures for weeks and I have so many ideas I can't wait to try with her. I plan to start Christmas sessions around the first or second weekend in November and I am already trying to come up with props and ideas to make them different so hopefully within the next month or so I will have some sort of idea locked in and I can post some pictures of my setups. I am hoping to do a formal setup this year as well as a more casual fun one, so I have lots of ideas going through my head for that. I am still booking sessions now. I am hoping to continue to do pictures up until just a few weeks before she is born so don't hesitate to call if you would like to schedule a session.

It's a Girl

Well as of last Saturday I am now 20 weeks pregnant. We found out on May 23 that we are having a girl and we are very excited. I have been busy shopping for crib bedding and of course every now and then I have to buy a cute outfit or something that I run across. My brother's girl friend was nice enough to paint her room yesterday but then we decided we wasn't too crazy about the colors so we plan to repaint part of the room this weekend. Anyways her name is Isabella and we can't wait to finally meet her.

Spring Is in Sight!

I was out of town last week and was so excited to come home and see how much the trees are blooming out and how much my flowers had grown. Today of course it is snowy and rainy and cold but at least we know spring is almost here. I have been pretty busy this weekend. I did the Monterey Youth Leaque Baseball pictures on Saturday morning and the "Miss Buttercup" pageant on Saturday afternoon. Things are starting to pick up since spring is right around the corner so if you need "last minute" senior portraits or anything be sure to call soon.

And on to the subject of the baby, things are going well with that too. I have been feeling a little yucky lately. Just when you think you are past the morning or in my case all day sickness, it comes back stronger than ever. So I am looking foward to feeling a little better. And hopefully just 5 more weeks until we find out pink or blue. We can't wait!!!

Baby On The Way

Well it's official. We are having a baby. I had my first Dr. visit today and everything looked good. I was able to hear the little heartbeat and everything. I am pretty excited now. I was so scared to get excited before I went to the Dr. but hearing the heartbeat made it sound alot more real. The baby should be here sometime around October 18th. So I will keep everyone updated as things progress. I can't wait to have my own little model.

Easter

Easter has slipped right upon us. I am now booking Easter sessions. I actually have a new scenic backdrop which I am planning to use for some of the Easter sessions and as soon as I get some pictures of it I will post them. But I also have plenty of other ideas for those wanting something a little different. In the past I have always done Easter pictures outside but since it is in March this year, if you want actual Easter pictures before Easter we will probably have to do inside sessions. However if you would rather wait until the weather and the grass is a little more suitable for outdoor pictures I will keep the bunnies and baskets around and we can do some a little later outside in the Easter dresses and Sunday Best! Jaden

Little Miss Jaden is getting an attitude and it shows in her pictures. She is a mess. Of all the pictures I have ever made of her, I think she cooperated better for me in these than ever. We got some really cute ones I think. Let's hope the judges think so too, because Jaden is in pagents and the pictures from this session are going to be used for her most photogenic entries. Anyways here are some of my favorites from her session. We also took a couple of Easter shots of Jaden too. So one of the ones I am posting is of Jaden and Molly (the little stuffed rabbit).

Leanna and Hayden

Last week I did pictures for one of my friends from High Schools kids. It was actually Leanna's 2nd Birthday. Happy Birthday Leanna. She wasn't very happy about gettting her picture made but they turned out pretty dogone cute anyway. And Hayden is a heartbreaker in training (just check out his dimples and eye lashes) and he LOVES getting his picture made. Here are a couple of my favorites of them.

Lukas

This weekend my nephew came home from Knoxville and spent the weekend with my inlaws. So we had the chance to take some new pictures of him while he was here. He is getting so big. As you can tell in some of these pictures he has had a sore finger which will now be remembered forever because it has been hurting him so bad he holds it up all the pictures. Looper Wedding

As promised I am going to do much better about updating my blog. I have had a busy last couple of weeks. On March 1st I had the opportunity to shoot the wedding of John and Leann Looper. It's Been A While

Man it has been a really long time since I have posted anything on this blog. I will be honest with you, Chirstmas almost killed me with the new shop and the beauty shop and the pictures, so I have been laying low the past few months enjoying my down time. Luckily spring is right around the corner and I can't wait for some outdoor sessions. I promise to do better posting things on here so check back often.
